Geddes wis a Fellae o the Academy of Medical Sciences.[1] Frae 1996 till 1998 he wis preses o the Internaitional Society fur Smittle Tribble.[2] The follaein year, the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy awairded him the Garrod Medal, follaein whilk he delivert its accompanying lecture.[3] In 2009, he received Honorar Memmership o the Internaitional Society o Antimicrobial Chemotherapy.[4] He received the European Society o Clinical Microbiology an Smittle Tribble awaird fur excellence in clinical microbiology an smittle tribble in 2014.[2] Efterhin, in 2015 he received the Hamao Umezawa Memorial Awaird (HUMA) Awaird.[5]
