Adélie penguin

The Adélie penguin (Pygoscelis adeliae) is a species o penguin common alang the entire Antarctic coast, which is thair anly residence. Thay are amang the maist sootherly distributit o aw seabirds, as are the Emperor Penguin, the Sooth Polar Skua, the Wilson's Storm Petrel, the Snaw Petrel, an the Antarctic Petrel. In 1840, French splorer Jules Dumont d'Urville named them for his wife, Adélie.
