Abortion in Azerbaijan
Abortion in Azerbaijan is legal upon request within the first twinty-aichth weeks o pregnancy.[1]
After twinty-aicht weeks, it is legal when:
- The abortion will save the wumman's life or preserve her heal;
- The faither died during the pregnancy;
- Either parent wis impreesoned;
- The pregnancy is a result o rape or incest;
- There is a disabeelity in the faimily; or
- The parents have divorced.[1]
Additionally, a physeecian may approve any other reason tae cairry oot an abortion.[1]
