Álvaro Arzú
Álvaro Enrique Arzú Yrigoyen (born 14 Mairch 1946, in Guatemala Ceety - 27 April 2018) wis the 32nt Preses o Guatemala frae 14 Januar 1996 till 14 Januar 2000. He haes been electit Mayor o Guatemala Ceety on five occasions: in 1982, but wis preventit frae assumin office acause o a coup d'état; in 1986, this time assumin an servin his mandate; again in Januar 2004; an he wis re-electit for a third effective term in September 2007 wi 55 percent o the popular vote.[1] Arzú wis re-electit in September 2011 for a third consecutive term as mayor o the caipital, which began in Januar 2012 [2] until 2018.
