Slackware is a Linux distribution creatit bi Patrick Volkerding in 1993. Oreeginally based on Softlanding Linux System, Slackware haes been the basis for mony ither Linux distributions, maist notably the first versions o SUSE Linux distributions,[3][4] an is the auldest distribution that is still mainteened.[5]
