Salamis Island
Salamis (/ˈsæləmᵻs/; Greek: Σαλαμίνα Salamína, Auncient an Katharevousa: Σαλαμίς Salamís), is the lairgest Greek island in the Saronic Gulf, aboot 1 nautical mile (2 km) off-coast frae Piraeus an aboot 16 kilometre (10 mile) wast o Athens.
