Peugeot 3008
The Peugeot 3008 is a 5-seater compact crossover unveiled by French automaker Peugeot in May 2009. It was presented for the first time to the public in Dubrovnik, Croatia. A 7-seater version was launched in 2010 called the 5008..

In January 2010, the British Motoring magazine What Car? awarded it Car of the Year. It was also awarded the 2010 Semperit Erse Car of the Year in Ireland.

Hybrid versionEedit
The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 will be launched in the European market in early 2011 and it was the wrld's first production diesel-electric hybrid. The 3008 Hybrid4 will be unveiled in the 2010 Paris Motor Show. According to Peugeot, the new hybrid delivers a fuel economy up to 62 mile per US gallon (3.8 L/100 km; 74 mpg-imp) and CO2 emissions up to 99g/km on the European test cycle.
The crossover hybrid haes four different operating modes: Auto (the electronics automatically control the entire system), ZEV (all-electric), four-wheel drive mode (4WD) an sport (higher engine speeds than normal mode). A nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) battery pack is located in the rear.
