Muir o Ord (Scots Gaelic: Am Blàr Dubh) is a veelage in Hieland, Scotland. It is situated near the wastern boundary o the Black Isle, aboot 20 km wast o the ceety o Innerness, and 10 km sooth o Dingwal. It haes a population of 3,026.

The Black Isle Show,[1] ane o the lairgest agricultural shows in Scotland, is held every August in a showground near Muir o Ord. The showground is a popular exhibition site thanks tae the surroondin flouer fields.

The veelage is served bi Muir o Ord railwey station, opened in 1869, on the Kyle of Lochalsh line.

The Glen Ord Distillery is ane o the few remainin whisky distilleries on the Black Isle.[2]

Muir o Ord an aw haes a local fitbaw team, Muir o Ord Rovers F.C., that competes in the North Caledonian Football League.
