Muawiyah I (Arabic: معاوية ابن أبي سفيان Muʿāwiyah ibn ʾAbī Sufyān; 602 – Aprile 29 or Mey 1, 680) established the Umayyad Dynasty o the caliphate,[1][2] an wis the seicont caliph frae the Umayyad clan, the first bein Uthman ibn Affan.[3]
