Marie Émilie de Joly
Marie Émilie de Joly (Marie Émilie Thérèse; 2 August 1670 - 14 Aprile 1732) kent as Mademoiselle de Choin, wis the second wife o Louis o Fraunce, Dauphin o Fraunce, "Grand Dauphin". As she wis a member o the minor nobility, her mairiage tae the dauphin wis niver publicly announced. She wis introduced tae coort as a lady-in-waiting o The Dowager Princess o Conti who wis also very close tae her half brither Louis, Dauphin o Fraunce. The first wife o the Dauphin Maria Anna Victoria o Bavarie died in 1690 leaving three childer behind. Pregnant at tae time o her secret mairiage tae the dauphin (thocht tae be on 19 Julie 1694) she gave birth tae a son who died twa years after birth without being named. After the daith o her husband in 1711, she retired tae Paris where she died in 1732. She wis buried at the Cemetery Saunt Paul des Champs in Paris.
