Louise Anne de Bourbon (23 Juin 1695 – 8 April 1758) wis a member o the reigning Hoose o Bourbon She wis a granddaughter o Louis XIV through her mither Louise Françoise de Bourbon, who wis an illegitimate daughter o Keeng Louis XIV an his mistress Madame de Montespan. She wis kent as Mademoiselle de Charolais. Louise Anne owned several estates. In 1735, she became the owner o the Hôtel de Rothelin also kent as the Hôtel de Rothelin-Charolais in Paris. Voltaire wrote a verse in her honour. She refused proposals o marriage frae her cousins The Prince o Dombes an The Duke o Orléans an thus died unmairit an haed nae childer. During the Regency o the Duke o Orléans ("Régence") o her cousin, Philippe d'Orléans, Duke o Orléans, she became a mistress o the Duke o Richelieu, a grandnephew o Cardinal Richelieu. The Duke o Richelieu haed also haed an affair with Louise Anne's cousin Charlotte Aglaé d'Orléans. She wis also coontess o Charolais.
