Antoine de Gontaut (2 Februar 1701 – 19 October 1788), Duke o Lauzun, then o Biron, wis a French nobleman that wis created a Marshal o Fraunce bi Keeng Louis XV in 1757, as a result he wis kent as the Maréchal de Biron. He inherited his teetle frae his faither Charles Armand de Gontaut (that wis forby a Marshal o Fraunce) His mither wis a niece o Antonin Nompar de Caumont, Duke o Lauzun. He constructed the Hôtel Biron in Paris.[1] At his daith, his teetle wis inherited bi his nephew passed to his nephew Louis de Gontaut.
