Kinkaku-ji (金閣寺, lit. "Temple o the Gowden Pavilion"), offeecially named Rokuon-ji (鹿苑寺, lit. "Deer Gairden Temple"), is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan.[2]
