A hydrogen bond is the electrostatic attraction atween twa polar groups that occurs whan a hydrogen (H) atom covalently boond tae a heichhly electronegative atom sic as nitrogen (N), oxygen (O), or fluorine (F) experiences the electrostatic field o anither heichly electronegative atom nearbi.
