Fayetteville is a ceety in Fayette Coonty, Georgie, Unitit States. As o the 2010 census, the ceety haed a population o 15,945,[3] up frae 11,148 at the 2000 census. The ceety is the coonty seat o Fayette Coonty.[4] Fayetteville is locatit 22 mile (35 km) sooth o downtown Atlanta.[5]
