Daniel Defoe (/ˌdænjəl dˈf/; c. 1660 – 24 Aprile 1731),[1] born Daniel Foe, wis an Inglis trader, writer, jurnalist, pamphleteer, an spy, maist famous for his novelle Robinson Crusoe.
