Katharina o Austrick
Airchduchess Katharina o Austrick (Pols: Katarzyna Habsburżanka; Lithuanie: Kotryna Habsburgaitė; 15 September 1533 – 28 Februar 1572) wis a dochter o Ferdinand I, Haly Roman Emperor an Anna o Bohemie an Hungary. In 1553, she mairit Pols Keeng Sigismund II Augustus and became Queen consort o Poland an Grand Duchess consort o Lithuanie. Their mairiage wis nae happy an they haed nae issue thegither. Efter a likely miscarriage in 1554 an a bout o illness in 1558, Sigismund became increasingly distant. He tried but failed tae obtain a divorce frae the pape. In 1565, she returned tae Austrick an lived in Linz until her daith. Sigismund died just a few months efter her bringing the Hoose o Jagiellon tae its end.
