Bamberg (German pronunciation: [ˈbambɛɐ̯k]) is a toun in Bavarie, Germany, locatit in Upper Franconia on the river Regnitz close tae its confluence wi the river Main. Its historic ceety center is a leetit UNESCO warld heritage steid.
