Alba de Tormes

Alba de Tormes is a municipality in the province o Salamanca, wastren Spain, pairt o the autonomous commonty o Castile an León. The toun is on the River Tormes upstream frae the ceety o Salamanca. Alba gae its name tae ane o Spain's maist important dukedoms. St Teresa o Ávila dee'd at a convent she foondit in the toun.
