Hello and Grüeß Got! eedit

Unhappily, I have no Scots; an I don't even know if eventually just "Hello" is a greeting you utterly abominate, as in Bavarian "Tschüss" an so on. Or, I'll try i again with "Dia dhuit!" I have translated the Bible in Bavarian, the Sturm Bible in the Bavarian Book Language, and for this I used a "cloak orthography", allowing different pronunciations according to the regions. For some people it might seem historizing, as it is partly the the orthography of about 1500, and it uses Gothic letters. By the way, a nephew is studying in Edinburgh; and I wonder what he will tell us about recent developments in your country when he comes home on Christmas.
