Ongan, or Sooth Andamanese, is a small family o twa leids, Önge an Jarawa, spoken in the soothren Andaman Islands:

  • Ongan
    • Önge or Onge; 96 speakers (Onge) in 1997, maistly monolingual
    • Jarawa or Järawa; estimatit at 200 speakers (Jarawa) in 1997, monolingual

A third leid, Jangil, extinct sometime atween 1895 an 1920, is reported tae hae been unintelligible wi but tae hae haed noticeable connections wi Jarawa.
