Nothnegal
Nothnegal is a Maldivian hivy metal baund frae Malé, formed in 2006. The baund is currently signed tae Season of Mist.[2] Nothnegal is endorsed by Jackson guitars.[3]

Nothnegal wis formed bi guitarist Hilarl efter he left his previous baund The Mortuary alang wi his cousin an umwhile guitar partner Fufu in 2006, efter a couple of lineup chynges the baund hae haed a stable lineup since they released their first record.
Nothnegal's first release Antidote of Realism EP, wis self-released in 2009. The baund got producer Anssi Kippo who hae wirkt on the albums o Children of Bodom, Norther an several ithers, tae produce this EP an it received a lot o positive reviews frae ezines an magazines aw ower the warld an this gave the baund its first internaitional exposure. The baund an aa shot a muisic video o the sang "Web of Deceit".
In Aprile 2009, American Drummer Kevin Talley (Dååth, ex-Chimaira, ex-Dying Fetus, ex-Misery Index) an Finnish keyboard player Marco Sneck (Kalmah, Poisonblack) joined Nothnegal as offeecial members efter their oreeginal drummer an keyboard player left the baund tae continue their studies.
Nothnegal's debut album wis released on 20 Januar 2012 via Season o Mist an the baund hae done tours in Europe supportin baunds like Finntroll, Samael an Rotting Christ.[4]
Apparently, Avo is nae langer in Nothnegal as their names are no listed on neither the band's official myspace nor their facebook page anymore.[5][6]
On 22 Januar the baund's debut LP titled Decadence leakit intae the Internet.
Nothnegal hae been honored wi a Naitional Youth Awaird in the baund's hame kintra. The Maldives Preses Mohamed Waheed Hassan presentit the Naitional Youth Awaird 2012 tae Nothnegal in the category o Performin Airts.[7]
