Lincoln MacCauley Alexander, PC CC OOnt CD QC (21 Januar 1922 – 19 October 2012), served as the 24t Lieutenant Govrenor o Ontario, Canadae frae 1985 tae 1991. Alexander wis an aa a Govrenor o the Canadian Unity Cooncil.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, tae Wast Indian immigrants, Lincoln Alexander first distinguisht hissel in the Ryal Canadian Air Force durin the Seicont Warld War. He graduatit fae Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto in 1953.[1]
In 1968, he wis electit tae the Canadian Hoose o Commons as the Hamilton Wast representative for the Progressive Conservative Pairty o Canadae, becomin Canadae's first black Member o Pairlament.[2] He held the seat for fower successive elections.
