Al-Hasakah (Syriac: ܚܣܟܗ, Arabic: الحسكة Al Ḥasaka, Kurdish: Hesîçe, Turkis: Hasiçi) is the caipital ceety o the Al-Hasakah Govrenorate an is locatit in the far north-east corner o Sirie. Al-Hasakah haes the seicont heichest population in the govrenorate, 81,809, wi the majority being Christian ethnic Assiries/Syriacs, the Muslims in the ceety are mainly Kurds an Arabs. The Khabur River runs through Al-Hasakah an the rest o the govrenorate.
